REVIEW Street Dogs Street Dogs (LP, 2010, HELLCAT)

This is the golden year of melodic punk rock bands (the mainstream). After Gaslight Anthems and Devils Brigade, the Street Dogs also come up with an excellent album! We see that when pulling the air ... Even these calcium on bones if they are made in abundance before reaching this that can easily be defined as the LP of maturity, even going back only the work of the band, we find none other than the Dropkick Murphys (but I do not I never liked) in the roots of our own. At least one (maybe two?) Of the founding members of that famous band gave birth to this project, which in principle takes the style of D. Murphys, but with stronger emphasis on punk rock and old Celtic influence. Fortunately. Certainly the "Celtic" out there, but are carefully measured and often quite hidden. REVIEW ARTICLES OF FAITH "NEW NORMAL CATASTROPHE" (mini LP, 2010, Alternative Tentacles 422)

is useless to me again exaggerated in value judgments about the bands of the historical epoch that suddenly rise up like the phoenix from the ashes, often legitimized only by the fact that they were present in a certain period. Many of them are pathetic, and some other passable phenomenal. The AOF is phenomenal. Their leader, Vic Bondi, undaunted, went through all the decades that separated the onset with this same band (we speak of 1982) until today. He never stopped, and that more importantly, he always kept in every project a very high standard. Especially with sottovalutatissimi JONES VERY, which I urge you to rediscover! Moreover Bondi always been one of the most enlightened and intelligent interpreters of the whole epic hc, a character of great resources.

This return, then? Five pieces of Articles Of Faith, just as they did 30 years ago. But the class is not water, and this class there is for sale! The structures of the songs follow exactly the archetypes that have rightly made it popular (but not popular), the band over the years, but we must bear in mind that these "archetypes" were and are made up of songs never dull, energetic, melodic with nice changes time and always politically engaged texts. Fortunately, listening to the record you do not feel those feelings of determination, "effort" that often are imposed resurrected zombies trying to emulate a freshness unnecessarily long extinct and buried. Here, the disk runs out natural sound "new" in every respect!

Now listen, we should ... do not do a favor to them, but yourself!

REVIEW unstoppable - UNTIL THE SUN (SG RECORDS 2010)

One of the few advantages of the CD compared to vinyl is the ability to jump quickly from one piece the following using the "skip". REVIEW MENTAL "Demo II" (SIX FEET UNDER 20, 7 ", 2008)

I have not heard from the time of mental health, which makes me suppose that no longer exist. Too bad. Along with the GO IT ALONE were my favorite band like straight edge youth crew. This latest album is nothing but the vinyl reissue of their second demo. Almost all tracks here have also found their first official EP "And You Know This" in 2002. With this reissue brings to four the EP the band put out, in addition to a single LP that I think is qualitatively inferior to the EP. But the EP would be to have everyone! Hardcore as they once did (mean 88), but quite personal. Bel diskette. There is no tracklist of the songs, let alone known or qualsigenere to insert (at least in my copy). To find the songs I had to go in search of the history of Revelation!

REVIEW Headed Nowhere "5th Birthday Release" (TORNADO RIDE 058, 7 ", 2009)

REVIEW AND THE DOME LA MUERTE Diggers" DIGGERSONZ "(AREA PIRATA, 2010, CD)

Dome la Muerte and the Diggerz is a band that sounds Dome (but go ....), Which has a history worthy of a monster compared to bands like, among others, CCM (the story dell'accaci Italico, click here to believe it ... .. ) and Not Moving ( click here if you do not yet know ). Joining him are the likes of Emiliano Giuliani, former drummer of Liars, a small garage rock legend of our national, Matthew "Header" Gioli (founder the Thunder Rod Company) and Bonnie Von Vodka (former bassist of Les Valvolettes) took over from Lady Casanova on bass. Everything, therefore, prepare myself very well when dealing with this second album of the combo Toscano, which follows on from previous self-titled album in 2007 (see review ). This also continues the recovery of sound philological sixties, and we are faced with a Rock'n'Roll no ifs and buts, and corrosive acid that only those who 'do this for a living can do, including Fleshtones and Gun Club, Cramps and Ramones, the Rolling Stones through the most raw. A sound that is sweeping fans of the genre, though I prefer among all " Every Time," one of the wildest parts. Also appreciated the ride instrumental in Spaghetti Western style of the final " Taberna El Cubano," which would have the joy of Quentin Tarantino. I forgot: recorded entirely in analog in Spain at Circo Perrotti Study of Doctor Jorge Explosion.

Imagine Tesla's Everybody way: face to face at a distance of about half a meter, slightly bent over a wooden table covered with wires, microphones and various instruments (*) with which two boys produce sounds that are live loop. What do they do? Spare deadly strike a balance between pop and experimentation, and shooting dancefloor moments which catch his breath, fresh melodies and choruses that become sticky then the pounding rhythm of the songs more tense. There is a sense of play and musical adventure that reveals a playful approach, almost amused, to electronics, but also the need to deal with the musical materials of their time - always trying to, somehow, to force the boundaries and to look beyond. Here, imagine this: a line of sight to hacking machines and play with music in an intelligent and unprejudiced.

Registered in summer 2010 during some sessions home between Cagliari and Buggerru, EP is the official debut of Everybody Tesla, born duo encounter between Cagliari and Gran.Farabutt.Loop.Man MyNerdPride.
Four new songs (plus one bonus track, the Sciabarabarappa already out on O2S 01) that begin to show the disk array of sonic possibilities have plenty of live experience.
